The Hotel:
Priessnitz *** This main spa building was built in the year 1910 by the Wiener architect Bauer in Art Niveau style and after complete redevelopment, it offers totally 246 beds in single bed and double bed rooms. Priessnitz Spa Health Resort is situated in the beautiful spot on the slope of Rychlebské Mountains, 620 m above sea level, in the farthest north-eastern spur of Silesia and Moravia, about 2 km from the town of Jeseník. There is a great view of the impressive panorama of the mountain massif of Hrubý Jeseník with Praděd, the highest mountain of Moravia (1492 m above sea level). According to the repeated monitoring it was found out that local microclimate with its unique curable effects ranks the third in the world right after giants such as Austrian Bad Gastein or American Carlsbad. Due to protected geographical location, the spa has extremely favourable, mild and moist climatic conditions that enable effective curative or holiday stays every season of the year. It is suitable for treatment of diseases of air passages, circulatory disorders, nervous disorders, vegetative nervous system.
Rooms: Totally 15 comfortable apartments, 48 double bed and 35 single bed rooms are equipped with the shower or bathroom and toilette, TV-SAT, telephone and balcony. There is a minibar in some of the rooms. Entrance to the building, one room and hydrotherapy rooms and are adapted for handicapped guests.
Other services: Reception with non-stop service, 3 elevators, totally 3 dinning rooms with 248 places, daily bar, dancing café, ambulance, treatment room, indoor swimming pool with whirlpool, 2 hydrotherapy devices, electrotherapy, functional laboratory in which heart circulatory and air passages disorders can be examined, solarium, beauty and pedicure centre, billiards and other assembly premises are in the building. Inhalations and paraffin wraps are provided in BEZRUČ and BALNEOTHERAPY buildings, 200 far up the stairs. It might be said that the guests accommodated in this building have almost everything under one roof.
