The aim of this tour is to make you acquainted with the city´s historical districts and their remarkable monuments in a short span of time . You will be able to see the most impressive landmarks, such as the National Museum on the Wenceslas Square, the National Theatre, Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square, the Jewish Quarter Josefov, the Lesser Town with its beautiful baroque churches and palaces. The excursion will include a walk of about 45 minutes through Prague Castle and its grounds. The tour ends in the old Town Square, in the centre of the city. The picturesque medieval town of Kutna Hora, part of the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage, is situated approximately 60 km east of Prague. The sources of the beauties and riches of Kutna Hora are in the silver mines that were exploited most intensively in the 14 th and 15 th century. At that time the town rivallet Prague itself in importance.
During this excursion you will see interesting and most impressive sights as the unique Gothic Cathedral of St. Barbara, the patron of saint miners, the nearby Hrádek building which has a direct relationship which the town’s mining past, Wallachian Court (Vlašský dvur) which is important building, originally a mint, that once produced Prague groschen as well and a royal seat. Then you will see the Gotic fountain, and the Archdeacon’s Church of St. James.
